PoweredUpReviews.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

When you click a product link on this site that goes to Amazon and make a purchase, we may receive a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is exactly the same whether or not you arrived via our link.

How Affiliate Commissions Work

Amazon's commission rates vary by product category and typically range from 1% to 10% of the sale price. For generators and power stations (our primary coverage area), commissions typically fall in the 3–4% range. On a $1,000 purchase, this is approximately $30–$40.

Commissions are tracked via a unique tracking tag embedded in our links (eandgcards-20). We earn a commission only if you purchase within 24 hours of clicking our link, or if the product is added to your cart within 89 days.

Our Editorial Independence Policy

Our affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial recommendations. Specifically:

  • We never recommend a product simply because it pays a higher commission rate
  • We include critical assessments and genuine weaknesses in all reviews
  • We do not accept manufacturer samples, loans, or payments for coverage
  • We do not accept payment to rank a product higher than its performance merits
  • We do not receive payment for positive reviews
  • We disclose affiliate relationships clearly on every page where affiliate links appear

We purchase every product we review at retail price using our own funds. If we wouldn't recommend a product to a friend, it doesn't appear as a top pick regardless of commission rate.
